The Series D in standard specification has its pump casing and tri-lobe rotors manufactured from
ductile iron for non-sludge applications. For sludge duties the tri-lobe rotors have a metal insert
covered with either NBR or urethane, both giving long term wear resistance. The urethane rotors can
be supplied slotted, providing grit channels to improve rotor life.
